It All Started With A GoPro…
2016:
My parents gifted me a GoPro to capture all the exciting moments I was bound to have in Australia. Unknowingly, at that time, I had discovered that my passion for videography ran deeper than just a hobby. The pictures and videos I took encapsulated my experience from my perspective at that singular moment in time. However, they weren’t anything to write home about; in fact, the content was quite bad, but it made my travels that much more invigorating.
2018:
After weighing the pros and cons of entering this specific industry, I came to the conclusion to start small. I learned that the most essential camera you will ever have is the one that is always with you. That very camera was the one that was on my phone. As expensive as camera equipment is, in addition to my finances prohibiting me from investing thousands of dollars into this industry, I decided to build on my current equipment. Six hundred dollars later, I had my very own camera rig.
2019:
A year after building upon my skills and having a few projects under my belt, I decided to invest in an actual camera. The year leading up to this investment made me realize that I truly do have a passion for creating videos not only for clients, but also for myself.
